The artist from this video that I want to discuss is Jeff Koons. I know that his art is a very controversial. In the video he said that he is trying to create art that is nostalgic of your childhood. He wants to make people feel happy. I think that is a bunch of bull. His art is awful. I don't like his work or him very much. When you look at his art it makes you feel anxious and embarrassed that this is your heritage. I do admit that the large metal balloons and the garden dog are cool to look at, but then you find out that Koons didn't even make them himself. He just watched others do it. Yes he had the idea, but I think that the artists hand should be in all of his work. I agree with Robert Hughes sentiments of Koons.
