Bernini is an amazing sculpture and could arguable be better than Michelangelo. I think that this type of subtractive sculpture is amazing. Sculpting something soft is one thing, but marble is hard and if you hit it wrong it can crack and eventually fall apart. I think that Bernini's art is amazing and has such a sense of movement. He shows the moment right before the climax. There is a sense of exertion. It is very impressive.
