Louise Nevelson

Louise Nevelson creates some interesting sculptures. She uses all kinds of found objects and arranges them together. The way that she creates unity is by painting everything the same color. She uses white, black, brown - neutral colors a lot. I think that this use of unifying color is cool. It separates us from the objects and allows us to easily look at the objects formal qualities without being influenced by the objects use. It is really quite beautiful and gives you a different view of these objects.
